Frida's Garden Exhibit
Tucson Botanical Gardens
Frida’s Garden at Tucson Botanical Gardens was constructed as a new outdoor exhibit inspired by Frida Kahlo’s iconic home, La Casa Azul, in Mexico City. Epstein Construction collaborated closely with the project team to bring this vision to life, creating an immersive outdoor space designed for the community to explore and enjoy. The project scope included concrete foundations for free-standing exhibit walls, installation of large architectural and sculptural elements, integrated electrical and custom lighting systems, and coordination of heavy equipment to ensure precise placement and alignment throughout the site. Careful attention to sequencing, durability, and craftsmanship supported the successful execution of this unique display. Every detail was constructed to create a meaningful, lasting experience for visitors.
